A northwest Indiana man was arrested early this morning near Portage for driving with a blood-alcohol level almost four times the state's legal limit of .08 percent.
"Dude, I do this every night; I'm straight up and not drunk!" Zachary R. Duis told an Indiana state trooper after he was pulled over, police said.
Some headlines just write themselves!
BAAAHAHAHAHA! Just classic! Some of these mooks need to take the first sentence of Miranda seriously. It reminds me of Chris Rock in Lethal Weapon 4:
"You have the right to remain silent... so shut the f%ck up!!"
His last name is ( DUIs ) rofl.
His last name is ( DUIs ) rofl.
Ha Ha!
Excellent catch Jim!
It reminds me of another comedian that said "I had the right to remain silent, but I didnt have the ability."--Ron White
"Dude, I do this every night; I'm straight up and not drunk!"
Not the smartest thing to say after being pulled over...
I love it when they get really nervous and open up to everything they do.. People cannot learn to keep their mouth shut and only answer questions that a cop ask directly and answer directly what the cop ask.
I worked in High Tech Security that had many government contracts.. and you would be amazed at some would cop to before they were even questioned.. it seemed as though a light switch went off, and they start the gabbing process..
I wish I found this funny. When I was in high school I confronted my mom about driving drunk (an bi-weekly event for her) and how I was worried about her especially in the winter (which in Montana constitutes ten and a half months of the year). She told me she had been doing it for over twenty years and I should not worry. Drunks actually believe that practice makes perfect.
A few other things you should never say to a cop:
Hey, at least I'm coked up, so that kinda counter-acts the booze, right?
You're really ugly.
Have you got change for a pound of weed?
This car will go 117 mph before it starts to shake.
You should have seen how hammered I was last week.
Don't worry, these days cars pretty much drive themselves.
Don't I know your sister?
LMFAO!!!!
This drunk sounds like our neighbor. Drinks all the time and is NEVER sober. He just has a higher BAC some times. In our neighbor case the Local DA refuses to press charges EVER. So the cops don't even bother anymore. He was even involved in a hit and run, someone saw it and reported him. The cops arrested him, ended up Tasering him for resisting arrest and the DA dropped the charges. Worse he is a mean drunk. He has made our lives a living HELL. Even going as far as threatening to kill us. We would call the cops and they tell us he is going to pass out soon......just let him sleep it off. One night when the cops did come he threaten to kill 2 of them. They left him there to sleep it off. Later the DA threw out all the charges the COPS were pissed about that. We were told " he is a drunk, he has killed off all his brain cells. He acts like a 2 yr old and you can't exspect much from a 2 yr old. " We were also told "Thats just the way he is. " EXCUSE US. You might not can exspect much from a 2 yr old... but they have somebody to watch them and make sure they don't get into much trouble. They should lock up people like that and throw away the key. People like that NEVER learn. But it don't mean you shouldn't arrest them. When he kills someone they will all whine some one should have done something including the DA.
like the cop is just gonna say " oh.... well then you're obviously an expert" lol and just walk off.
Should tell him he has to inpect one of the tires, and just put a boot on it and drive away
